Meet Our Team

Our team at Bag Tags, Inc. is a diverse group of dedicated professionals, united by a common goal: to provide high-quality, custom-printed event credentials, luggage tags, and lanyards that make your events secure, distinct, and memorable. From our origins as a small, family business serving the local swim team, we’ve grown into a leader in the event pass industry. We’re proud to offer the individual care of a family business combined with the professionalism, efficiency, and precision of a mass-producing, international event product company. Our team works together to produce event passes, bag tags, lanyards, and other event products on time, accurately, and with professional quality. We’re real people with interests, quirks, and attention to detail. These are the people you can count on to get your project done right.

Directors

President & Co-founder

My day to day duties include making coffee, checking in on all the team members, and making sure we have the resources to service the customers. In addition, I’m the point person for licensing, partnerships, and strategic planning. I started the company back in 1997 while volunteering to help our local swim club along with the help of my wife, Diane, and our 7 children. Everyone had a hand in helping to come up with ideas, stuff envelopes, and attend events to meet customers and athletes. One of the high points in those early days was when my youngest son, Tommy, got to meet Gary Hall, Jr. at the Phillips 66 National Swimming Championships. I graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt, became a CPA, and spent 20+ years managing a fleet of private jets based at Midway Airport in Chicago. I love playing all sports, but am especially fond of running, golf, and now pickle ball. The best way to reach me is to just call me on my mobile phone.

Tom Doyle

Co-Founder

I worked alongside Tom in the early days to help coordinate marketing efforts, keep the kids focused while stuffing thousands of envelopes with samples, and directing some of the earliest production efforts as we responded to the customer requests. I specialize in making the team feel good. My work in the company has included managing the work in process, payroll, and high level strategic planning. Lately most of my time involves giving special attention to our 8 grandchildren spread around in 5 different states. I love reading, watching classic old movies, book club, and driving any manual transmission roadster. The best way to reach me is to call Tom!

Diane Doyle

Marketing/Promotions Manager

When I’m not in the office I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with our golden retriever, cooking, watching movies, playing board games, listening to podcasts and audiobooks. Albeit a little more difficult these days I also enjoy traveling. I’ve been with Bag Tags for almost 20 years now. I’ve worn many hats within the company but recently I’ve shifted my efforts into the marketing and sales department which has been a great transition. My favorite part about working at this company is the culture and the team. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with some amazing clients over the years.

Christ follower, love to bake, love classical music, dog lover, “tolerater” of cats (although I rescued 2 of them out of the alley and bottle fed them…they are still with me), dog/cat referee. I love to take the dog (Maggie) to the dog park to watch her run free and play with other dogs and I take her to agility class. I love to work out too! Each day is different because I have many things to do helping out whoever needs something. We put out a really nice product – something I can be proud to be a part of. Great group of people to work with. And, it’s close to home!

Customer Advocates

Customer Advocate

Hi! My name is Asher, I work remotely out of Gainesville, Florida. In my free time, I love to be outdoors, go birdwatching, hiking, canoeing, and adventuring. I also love playing video games, and hanging out with my cat, Crookshanks. My favorite thing about working as a customer advocate at Bag Tags is helping people. I get a lot of satisfaction knowing that my customer’s event went off without a hitch, and that I was able to help them organize it. I also love when a customer sends me an email to let me know how the event went, or how they liked the tags!

I’m an empty nester of two sons. A lover of dogs, sports (I’m a sucker for Hard Knocks), and sneaker culture. I am grateful to work with such an incredible team at Bag Tags, Inc. As an avid runner and in physical training, I have come to appreciate the physicality of athletes, our customers, and what organized sports does for our communities. It is a constant inspiration and keeps me going. You’ll usually find me outside of the office running or jumping rope during my lunch break.

I have been involved in sales and service my entire career. As a father of 4 boys, I know what it is like being everything from a Team Parent to a Coach. Our product is loved by all the kids that get the tags and they enhance every program that uses them. It is a hoot working for a company that makes such an affordable and fun product. My goal is making your order with Bag Tags Inc the easiest thing that you do today.

I like Comics and Horror movies. I collect 4K Blu-Rays. My favorite thing is drilling the sheets before the tags are punched out! There is something really satisfying about it.”

Run the production facility by day, Gamer at night. If I am not working or gaming, you might catch me traveling around the country to see Dave Matthews Band. The Staff! We have a really hard working staff with a great culture. We are lucky to work for a business that really gives its employees the opportunity to grow with the business.

Assistant Production Supervisor

My name is Ron Rodricks. I’m a plant operator and have been with Bag Tags, Inc. for 3 years. My favorites things about working at Bag Tags, Inc. are the people I work with, and the fast paced environment. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my rambunctious boxer and training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Fun fact: I have also been an active real estate broker the last 5 years!

Ron Rodricks

Production Assistant

I was born in the Philippines. 10 years and counting living in Chicago. Loves discovering new food in the city and constantly training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for 2 years. I like the opportunity to learn new things from the production plant, especially heavy equipment machines such as the Press and Roll’em. It’s a unique experience since only a few people can manage to learn and operate these machines.

Our Pets

Hey, I’m Luther.  I was named after a guy named Martin.  Tom & Diane bailed me out of pet prison a few years ago and gave me a good start.  I’ve been trying really hard to stay on their good side because I like hanging out, racing around the office and saying hi to the rest of the team.  My favorite thing is looking really innocent and cute and then getting a few treats.  Not sure how this gang makes it through the day without taking a nap.  Must be that they play Tag all day long and just don’t get bored.  I was never big on games, but I do like being a member of the pack!

I’m Spextopher and am a 10 year old disabled pitbull terrier mix. I have one eye that isn’t great and two knee implants. I don’t enjoy going for walks or moving in general. I prefer to sleep all day or lay in a patch of sun, but I love cuddles and belly rubs. I came from Felines & Canines in Chicago and am the one who introduced my mom to my dad.

Meet Gus!  He’s probably the happiest dog you will ever meet, but he’s also super chill and exceptionally smart.  Some of his favorite activities include eating sticks, going for walks, greeting people / other dogs, taking long naps, and eating ice cubes.  He’s practically perfect in every way.

I’m Margaret “Maggie” Dumont Allinson. I was adopted from One Tail at a Time in 2015. I was named after the actress that was in the Marx Brothers movies because my parents like them. I’m a very sweet girl. My favorite toy is my giraffe. My favorite activity is hanging out with my parents.

My name is Miss Polly Ruth Positivity Jackson, I’m a 6 year old pointer/lab mix. I’m from Felines & Canines in Alabama and am known as the facility’s favorite pup. I serve as a seeing eye dog for her disabled brother, Spextopher. I guide Spex when he gets lost, but I will take advantage of his disability and steal treats from him. I play a mean game of hot lava in the house and my paws rarely touch the ground. I also like going for long runs with my parents, but we have to find a stroller for Spex so he can come with us.

Maggie was adopted when she was 6 months old.  She is a very athletic girl and loves agility training, running in the dog park, and jumping the fences there (3-1/2 feet!).  She also loves chasing the cats around the house.  At the end of the day, she thinks she is a lap dog – and loves to cuddle.

Noir is a free roam, lions head rabbit, he is currently two years old! Noir enjoys laying around with me and my family, eating hay, vegetables, and the carpet. He loves exploring new things. Noir is very curious but alert and aware of his surroundings. He enjoys jumping and running around, he jumps on my bed at least once a day. He loves parsley and blueberries, and he’s the best companion I could ever ask for.

These brothers were rescued out of the alley when they were tiny kittens and needed to be bottle-fed for the first few weeks.  They have very different personalities – Calvin loves to settle in my lap (when Maggie is out of the house!) Calvin loves to mix it up with Maggie – batting at her face, etc., but Hobbes just hisses.
