Design & Customization
- Artwork Guidelines: For the best print quality, we recommend submitting vector files, Adobe Illustrator files with images embedded or high-resolution PDFs.
- Available Sizes: Our luggage tags come in a variety of sizes. Most popular sizes are 3.125”×2.125″ and 3”×4”. If you don’t see the size you need, contact us.
- Personalization Options: Customize your tags with variable names, photos, QR codes, and more. For orders requiring variable data, we recommend reaching out to ensure a seamless customization process.

Frequently asked questions
What is your standard turnaround time for credentials and tags?
You will receive a digital proof within 3 days of order approval. The Standard turnaround time is 15 business days until we ship your products. We offer priority services if you need your product in less than 15 days.
What is your standard turnaround time for custom lanyards?
When the order is received, and a quote is approved, we will send a digital proof within 3 business days. After artwork is approved, you will receive your order within 3-4 weeks.
What is your minimum order requirement for tags?
Order Minimums by Product and Ordering Method:
- Luggage Tags (Online Orders): No minimum required
- Luggage Tags (With BTI Team Assistance): 25-piece minimum
- Event Credentials (Online Orders): 10-piece minimum
- Event Credentials (With Assistance): 25-piece minimum
- Custom Lanyards: 100-piece minimum (regardless of order method)
Can you print on both sides, and if so, will it increase the cost and how many colors are included?
Our price includes design on the front, and the back, with no limit on colors, or logos.
What type of file should I submit for my artwork?
We prefer vector art such as an Adobe Illustrator or a layered Photoshop file or PDF. If these are not available, high resolution (at least 300 dpi) images are the next best thing (pdf, jpg, png, tiff).
What attachment options do you offer?
We have 6” clear plastic loops (provided in every order for $0.06/ loop, unless told otherwise) as well as stock, and custom lanyards for credentials.
Can I customize my tags, or credentials with an individual's name?
We can! Customization of a tag, or credential is only an additional $0.35 per piece and that includes an individual’s name, title, number, address, etc.
Can I customize my tags, or credentials with an individual's photo?
We can! Customization of a tag, or credential with an individual’s photo is only an additional $1.00 per piece. The variable text is covered in this $1.00.
How do I make payment?
We do accept checks, but we will need payment information (PO, or credit card) on file prior to moving an order into production.
Can you ship on my UPS, or FedEx account?
Yes! Provide the UPS, or FedEx account number to your account manager and he will make sure that we ship your order on your account.
